🚛🍴 WPS students in 6th grade IB MYP Language Acquisition learned how to name foods and describe meals in Spanish. Along with this, they learned how to order food and express their preferences…and how to ask about someone else’s preferences. For their final project, students had to create a menu and food truck (made out of cardboard boxes) based on the cuisine of a Spanish-speaking country of their choice. When all menus and food trucks were ready, students presented their menu to their customers (their classmates and teachers), and were given time to walk around and visit other food trucks. Various students prepared some of the items in their menu, which were shared with the rest of class in a clean and COVID-safe manner! Great shout-out to the fantastic Mr. Araiza for building experiences for new learners of the Spanish language!
