Willows Preparatory School is proud to offer a rigorous, university-prep education for middle and high school students using the prestigious International Baccalaureate Programme. We currently offer grades 9 and 10 as part of the IB Middle Years Programme that begins in grade 6, and have been certified to offer the IB Diploma Programme beginning in the 2021-2022 school year. Located just outside of the Redmond Microsoft campus, we naturally offer accelerated IB science, technology, engineering, and mathematics courses that evolve with our changing world. Willows Preparatory School’s humanities and arts courses, which are rooted in international mindedness, creativity and critical-thinking skills, are given equal spotlight. Our small, close-knit community naturally provides leadership opportunities for all students and extracurricular clubs allow students to showcase their talents in both competitive and self-enriching contexts. Our plans for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme – outlined below – transcends the traditional approach to education, requiring students to complete additional courses that expand their minds, fine-tune their passions, and aid their communities through direct and in-direct service learning. Our process results in a scholar ready to not only find success at university but apply the lessons learned to future career ambitions.
